Does anyone have a reasonably powerful weed-eater that they might be willing to loan to me for a weekend? I have a smaller electric one that’s decent for trimming and edging, but I need something that can go through heavier underbrush (1/2 inch thick type stuff). I’m looking to clean up the jungle at the back of my yard this weekend so I can hang a hammock between the two trees all the way in the back.

If not; does anyone know a place in town that rents out that sort of equipment? I’m trying to avoid buying one if I don’t have to. I’m all about owning power tools, but I’d rather it be one that I’ll use regularly.
