It’s my birthday!

*does the birthday booty dance*

So I come to find out that and I share the same birthday and that ‘s birthday is on the 15th, so this get together at my house has been shifted into an all out Libran birthday celebration. I sent out a myspace invite, but for those of you who aren’t on there or who don’t check up on it all that often, here’s the rundown:

When: 8 PM, October 14th (that’s one week from today)
Where: My House (2073 Commonwealth Dr.)
What to Bring: Bring something to share…food, beer, liquor, etc.

I’m making a pot of veggie chili and a pot of meat chili, so there should be enough to go around to feed everyone, but more food is always better then not enough. I’ll hit the ABC and provide some liquor and mixers…the spiked spiced cider was a big hit last year, so I’ll probably have a pot of that going as well. Presents are *not* required/necessary/expected. If you want to get me something, I’m not going to stop you…but seriously just come on out and party with the Librans, that’s really all I’m looking for. Absolutely everyone is welcome…I do have a “drama-free” rule at my party though, so if you bring drama with you, it gets to hide outside in the bushes with my creepy stalker.

Those who have kids are more then welcome to bring them along. Pets are welcome as well. I figure it should stay child-friendly up to about 10 or 11…after that the munchkins most likely need to be in bed anyway.

EDIT: RSVP by Wednesday if you wouldn’t mind, just so I know how much stuff to buy.

Yes folks that’s right, the celebration of the birth of the ninja monkey draws nigh. On October 17th, I will be unable to be trusted by Bob Dylan’s standards (translation, I’ll be 30). I am trying to get together a grandiose party the likes of the dawning celebration at ‘s house. I know folks work different schedules and such, so here’s the plan:

Friday October 14th – Party at my house. Bring friends, tell them to bring friends. You know me, everyone is welcome. Bring a bottle of something (or six pack) to share. I’ll provide the food. I’m making meat chili and totally hypoallergenic veggie chili. It’ll be awesome.

Saturday October 15th – Head out to dinner somewhere. Hang out at my house for a bit if anyone likes, then wander on down to the dawning for fun and debauchery. Dance the night away then sleep.

Sunday October 16th – I have no idea…maybe brunch? I can cook for a crowd, so we can resume festivities at my house and then play video games until our eyes bleed.

Monday October 17th (the big day) – I’ll be grabbing dinner with my folks that evening most likely, then afterwards I’ll be heading into Richmond for Sacrosanct. I’m also off from work this day so anyone who isn’t working Monday and wants to come spend time with me on my *actual* birthday is more then welcome.

Tuesday October 18th – I recover from a weekend of heavy partying and sleep *all* day *(’cause I’m off again)
