Long Time No See

Goodness…it’s been a bit hasn’t it old friend? My last post was right at the beginning of the lockdown and a lot has certainly changed since then. I don’t think too many folks check in on me through this site anymore given I haven’t updated in 6 years. Originally I setup this site to use after I left LiveJournal (to give you an idea of both its age and my own). I even pulled all of my old posts from LJ into this as a sort of living record of all that time I spent writing. Nowadays I spend most of my time on Mastodon, having shut down all of my other social media sites save that one and BlueSky (at least at the time I’m writing this). If for some reason you do follow me here, I run my own Mastodon instance nowadays – https://10base2.dev/@monkeyninja. At some point I’ll convert this site to static HTML like all the other cool kids and maybe do some crossposting but for now at least, look for me on Mastodon.
